Activity for May 20th-21st, 2020:

A spectrogram is a picture of sound. A spectrogram shows the frequencies that make up the sound, from low to high, and how they change over time, from left to right.

Using the Chrome Music Lab Spectrogram feature, explore how various sounds create different frequencies! On the bottom, you can select different sounds and watch their frequencies. You can also record your voice and watch your own frequencies!

You will need to watch the Harp, Trombone, Birds and Modem. You will need to describe how these frequencies looked by answering the questions. After exploring these 4, pick at least 1 other sound to explore. You can answer these questions on a separate piece of paper or print out this one!
